Black Amber Booking and Cancellation Policy.

In order to help facilitate smooth booking and cancellations of appointments at Black Amber, we now require a credit/debit card on file* when booking your service. If you do not wish to have your card stored you will be asked to pay a booking deposit of 50% of the service booked, each time you book.
We want to give every client the time and attention that you deserve for your service. We understand that sometimes circumstances arise and you need to make adjustments to your plans. If you must cancel or rebook your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations or missed appointments without 24-hour notice will result in a charge of part or all of the service amount.
If you cancel your appointment without giving at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment this will result in with your deposit being held or 50% of the service amount being charged to the card on file. Any “no shows” will be charged 100% of the service amount.
Our salon booking cancellation policy is intended to ensure that we have the opportunity to fill any last-minute availability. We don’t want to make any clients on the waiting list miss their chance to book an appointment or receive a service. Please understand that we’re committed to offering you the highest possible level of service during your appointments with us.
If you need to cancel because of a personal or medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we can decide how best to proceed.
Any deterring from these policies are at the discretion of Black Amber management only.
*All cards are stored in our salon software Phorest and are protect by Stripe Radar. This gives us many tools to prevent fraud. Stripe will assess a customer based on their location and card details/email address and give them a “risk level”. Any risky customers are asked to go through 3D Secure which authenticates the transaction further. Once your card is stored only the last four digits of you card number are visible to Black Amber and Phorest staff.
